BGAN remote communication terminals are compact in size, highly portable and offer the flexibility of establishing voice calls while connecting at high speeds to the internet. The Inmarsat Network offers a near global coverage. The terminals rely on Inmarsat’s I-4 satellite constellation for service and can offer data speeds up to 492Kbps. Equipped with an Ethernet port and a USB port allowing PC connectivity, most terminals also have an RJ11 port facilitating the connectivity of conventional low cost phone for voice (in other words no need to ISDN phone).
